Formed under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of DEWA, WETEX has become the largest event of its kind in the region, attracting every year thousands of exhibitors and visitors and serving as a meeting point for experts and specialists in diverse sectors, especially energy, water and environment conservation, as well as green buildings and oil and gas.
